TheraBite ActiveBand

TheraBite ActiveBand is an addition to the TheraBite Jaw Motion Rehabilitation System providing resistance to mouth closure. The device is designed to increase muscle strength and endurance of the muscles of mastication (the masseter -, temporalis -, medial – and lateral pterygoid muscles). The active exercise can be used for patients compromised by cerebral lesions after stroke or that have neuromuscular disorders. It can also serve as a supplement to passive motion exercises, e.g. for patients with Trismus.
